Best Dog Products for Travel – Sato Tested, Kandace Approved!

Since 2018, the majority of our travels have been with our dog Sato in tow.  From tiny weekend trips on the west coast to three not so tiny trips across the country, our nomadic lifestyle has led us to discover some of the best pet products for Sato we just can’t live without! Today’s featured product is a high-quality, low-cost item that has finally ended our frustrations with and search for the best waste bag holder/dispenser we could find. Almost every dog owner has experienced those cheap, often free promotional item dog bag holders.  You know the plastic ones that look like a dog bone?  Yea those! We must have gone through a half dozen of those breaking, or having the bag roll unravel down the street, or even worse, the top popping off somewhere on our walk leaving us with no waste bag when we need it most!  Frustration mounted and shopping mode was activated.  We went on the hunt for something durable, easy to use, and reliable.  We tried holders with zippers but the bag roll wouldn’t spin easily, and zippers would often break to rubber holders which were clunky to use and less effective as the bag roll got smaller.  After using several variations of those bag holders, we finally found a bag holder that checked all the boxes…….

Bag roll doesn’t spin easily.

PROS:

Durable.

Rarely break.

CONS:

Clunky.

Difficult to dispense (bag roll doesn’t spin easily at first).

Bags will unravel and/or fall out of the dispenser as the roll gets smaller.
