Kandace’s 2022 Book Reading List

As we sit here in the SFO airport and wait to head out on our next epic adventure, I struggle with the idea that I still have 30 blog posts to catch up on from our travels across the country and if I should get those posted as quickly as possible or start sprinkling in some stories from our current trip.

We are about to embark on a 2.5 month trek across Southeast Asia. We land in the Philippines on 12/27, and will be visiting Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand so Kandace will have plenty of time to read a bunch of new books.

Before she completes her next batch of 40 books, we thought we would share the books she read on our 8.5 month cross country trip.  Below is her list with links to Amazon should you wish to pick up a copy as well.

Wishing you all happy holidays, happy new year and happy reading!

  1. Thanks guys. A long list. It’d be great to get a sense of which you loved, which not so much, genre maybe to quickly find the non fiction travel books that I love.
    Enjoy your travels

  2. We enjoy living vicariously thru your adventures !!! It looks like a lot of fun . I can’t believe out of all those books I didn’t read any . Oh well 🤷‍♂️. Stay safe and enjoy the ride . John

  3. Oh yes, I totally agree w/Caryn! And it’s not too late to add, even just a symbol, so we all could decide whether to bother with the book or not!!
They look interesting, but there must be some that you just couldn’t get into, Kandace…..or some that you wished were longer!? So…one of these evenings when you’re too tired for an entire blog post, but ok to add a note or two to the book list? Your friends would be ever so grateful…:)
    travel safe, carole
